Who is Vanisha Singh, could you please introduce yourself?
I am Vanisha Singh, the creative soul who drives marketing, design, social and you to make the change. From being in corporate for over 10 years, it is time that I drive my own schedule and passion. I am an entrepreneurial woman, wife, mum to a beautiful daughter, dog mom, women advocate, sister, friend and collaborator!!
What is your business and when did you start?
Having earned my stripes and bags under my eyes in the fast-paced corporate world, it was time that I help smaller businesses by driving them and providing the right tools to elevate their branding, marketing, and overall social presence with a little flare called calligraphy. Find Me Lettering began in 2019 and soon evolved into Find Me Social & Lettering, cause that’s what we do.
What inspired you to start your business?
My passion for writing. I always wanted to become a journalist but saw marketing as the opportunity to spread my wings even further. Someday I may just become a journalist, you never know!
What were the challenges in the initial stages of your business and how did you overcome them?
Being a recent immigrant from South Africa, settling into a new country and learning the ropes about how to start was no easy step. Daily in my business, I learn but no one can prepare you about the number of hats/designations you hold and the number of different directions you are pulled into. The first year is truly the hardest and nothing or no one could prepare you for a pandemic.
What motivates you about your business?
My passion is to help others and I am such a people pleaser (something I am working on through setting boundaries). My enneagram Type 2 and Type 8 definitely showing through here.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Our motto is “there is a piece of the pie for all”. When planning with intention and consciousness we create our future reality, so what does your vision board look like and are you working towards it?
Interesting fact most of the people do not know about you?
I love arcade games, especially the Claw games. A claw crane, claw machine, toy crane or skill crane is a type of arcade game known for merchandise or stuffy toys and of recent some cool gadgets or extra tickets. My dad taught me how tricks around this.

My definition of success is…
creating the ability and platform for others to propel forward in an inclusive environment where equal opportunities are pursued.
If I could go back in time when I started my business, I would tell myself to…
