Who is Laura Murphy, could you please introduce yourself?

I am a Certified Life Coach (aka Soul Guide) committed to a personal quest to fulfill my soul’s purpose of  healing and growing myself and guiding others to do the same.

What is your business and when did you start?

Evolve With Grace Coaching began in 2021 providing personal and professional Life Coaching both virtually and in-person.

What inspired you to start your business?

In an attempt to “fix me”, I became a student of life coaching. It was so transformational for me that by beautiful mother convinced me to certify as a coach and pursue a business of serving others.

What were the challenges in the initial stages of your business and how did you overcome them?

I definitely struggled with confidence as a coach and my ability to have an impact on others in addition to a serious aversion to social media (which I’m still working through!). Taking a little bit of action every day keeps in a space of progression and pride making the obstacles less big and hairy!

What motivates you about your business?

Knowing the profound impact coaching has had in my personal life translates into my motivation every day. Observing the energy shift that a client experiences throughout our sessions lights me up in a way nothing else does!

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?

Get out of your head and into your body! Forget about the “How”, if your instincts are nudging you toward it, take the leap and TRUST! Your soul will be dancing with JOY and that is never a mistake.

Interesting fact most of the people do not know about you?

I spent nearly 20 years in corporate finance with serious ambitions to climb that ladder as high as I could! I am so grateful for the series of events that led me here, to where I’m ultimately meant to be. I am also learning how to play the guitar 🙂

The best business advice I ever received was…

There is nothing a little bit of activity can’t cure. This is ridiculously true. Just DO something, all the mind drama will fade away…

My definition of success is…

Putting my head on my pillow at night and feeling proud of the way I showed up that day.

If I could go back in time when I started my business, I would tell myself to…

Stay in my lane, stop watching others and follow my instincts! Also TRUSTING that I had everything I needed within me.

Three books I recommend for entrepreneurs are…

The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer
Get Over Your Damn Self by Romi Neustadt
You Are A Badass or You Are A Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero

My personal tagline is…

Bless & Release! It is what it is and it was what is was….
