Hello! I’m a lawyer with over a decade of experience and practice mostly employment, commercial and real estate law. We have a young family of three children and live in Oakville.

My business Sandhu Legal Professional Corporation (SLPC) is a boutique law firm specializing in people: Employment law matters of all kinds dealing with people and their experiences in their jobs and careers &
Commercial law matters dealing mostly with contracts and I know what you’re thinking, “what do contracts have to do with people?” Everything! Contracts deal with the wishes of people and their businesses.
What inspired you to start your business?
My family. I realized how much time I was working for someone else and then had an A-ha moment where I was like, “I can do this for myself.”
What were the challenges in the initial stages of your business and how did you overcome them?
Flow of business. To combat this, I joined local networking groups.
What motivates you about your business?
New and interesting cases.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Don’t give up. You can always pull yourself out of something that may not be great.
Interesting fact most of the people do not know about you?
I’m a local politician!

Networking is another part of your job. The more you network on a weekly basis, the more you will get out of work.

having people help me run my practice so I can manage high level and take on only the cases that I want to take on.
