Who is Dominika Gejo, could you please introduce yourself?
I am a Certified Foot Reflexologist, Intuitive Energy Healer, Reiki Practitioner and I have also developed my unique method of healing called Healing Touch.
What is your business and when did you start?
My business is a holistic business with the main focus on helping people with their healing process.
What inspired you to start your business?
My inspiration was my inner need to help people with their struggles both on a physical or energetic base. I always had the feeling that I have the ability to bring light into people’s lives.
What were the challenges in the initial stages of your business and how did you overcome them?
My biggest challenge that I have overcome was believing in myself and my abilities, seeing myself as a unique individual with unique qualities. Every day I am discovering new dimensions about myself and I strive to be the best version of myself. Having gone through financial challenges at the beginning of my business made me more resilient and actually came as a blessing through meeting new people, learning new crafts.
What motivates you about your business?
My main motivation is the joy of my clients’ faces after their treatment. I am also motivated by the feeling when my clients release their tension and anxiety, shift to hope for the better.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Live your passion! Listen very closely to the voice deep inside of you, feel it, and respond to it. This is your inner calling. If you do not answer it, you might risk unfulfilling your life. Remember that you might fail many times before you could establish yourself. Try to embrace each failure with gratitude since this is how you learn and become stronger. Your power lies within you.
Interesting fact most of the people do not know about you?
I do not like being told what to do! Despite my peaceful personality, when in the situation of someone trying to push me around, I rebel instantly!
The best business advice I ever received was…
Never give up. You will lead a more satisfactory life if you continue trying despite the failures rather than wondering “what if”.
My definition of success is…
the moment when I see my clients leaving healthy, happy and with a new life focus. Also, knowing that I make an effort to do my best in every single case.
If I could go back in time when I started my business, I would tell myself to…
Believe in my abilities and every single step I take is in fact taking me closer to where I’d like to be. Focus not only on the destination but the process itself!
Three books I recommend for entrepreneurs are…
“The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom” by Don Miguel Ruiz
“The Philosophy of Freedom” by Rudolf Steiner
“Biology of Belief” by Bruce Lipton
My personal tagline is…
“To truly know the world, look deeply within your own being; to truly know yourself, take a real interest in the world. Live through deeds of love, and let others live understanding their unique intentions.” Rudolf Steiner
